Listed as the band accompanying Ray Stratton on his debut single 4 to remember released in 1969. The line up here was a mix of musicians playing with The Ken Stevens Orchestra at The Samson & Hercules Ballroom, Norwich (Cubitt, Urqhart and Barriskill) with the remainder playing in The Tommy Littlewood Band resident at a nearby Caister holiday camp at the time where Stratton would also double as the groups bass player.

Recent discoveries of acetates of this group have ask questions about who is Norma Cathrow could Norma Wicks be the same person? Ian Black has been digging up info: Hi Kingsley. The disc [I Think Only Of You] belonged to a gentleman called Eric Lane who has passed away. His partner has no idea as to why he would have it and he had no connection to the area as far as she knows. As one of the songwriters is an "A Lane" I am presuming a family member wrote the song and that's how it ended up in his possession. I am a musician but my connection is only in that I purchased his small record collection and this acetate was alongside a 1961 flexi disc inside the sleeve and I was keen to find out more about it. There is another acetate by them that has been put up on Youtube, probably from the same recording session. I can't find any information about Norma Cathrow. Nobody has been born with that name or married into that name in the UK and I can only find one credit for her on a 1972 Jim West and the Texans LP. Norma Wick is the credited vocalist on a 1964 "Rhythm records" E.P. doing a cover version of "I only want to be with you". The EP also has the Chic Applin trio so it's surely the same singer. I wondered if she had some connection to the trombonist Derek Wick from Tommy Littlewood's band although I've done some genealogy on him and he has no sisters, no wives and no mother called Norma ! The plot thickens !
